    Hi,

    I'm going to install a M3.1 on a V3 pal ps2, I saw the official diagram on it's full of via
    So is there any others points for the bios area os some easier alternate points ?

    Post pictures if you can

    There are no vias - do you mean pads? They're OK.

    The points M to V are difficult because they are located on little "hole" (maybe i have not used the good word) which need to be cleaned for the solder to "stick"

    So that's why I asked for some alternate points for that part (if existing...)

    Thx anyway and sorry for my lack a technical vocabulary

    TDM the board conection points are mainly VIAs, and the V3 conection points are on the whole a bad choice, with the +5 being the worst. I haven't a V3 here to trace the point again but the EPROM points M-V, I trace back to the EEPROM and connect there.
