    Is it better to mount it ontop of the other chips as china magic site or in the empty space on the board?

    doesnt matter as long as it dont make contact with the metal plate and the cables r short enough .

    you should put it on the empty space so it doesnt blow a fuse or anything, and so the case goes back on completely flush

    Why would mounting it on a component blow a fuse? Also haven't had a problem getting the case back on flush (with some room to spare)..
