Magic 3/.1 Light Coloured CDR's PRobs

Hi all,

recently i have chipped a 39002 and a 30002r PS2, both with what i believe are Magic 3.1's...

I have found that both ps2s wont read any light colored bottomed cdrs (ie tdk 80min whute labeled cdrs, mitsuis, melody etc).. although they read darker cdrs (princo, verbatim etc) fine..

is theis a magic 3.1 prob or a laser prob? As i have 2 30002r's (one with neo2.2 and one with messiah) and they read any media..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Hey gianmmx, did u experiance the same probs i mentioned above? If so, do u think its the chip or the laser?

don't use colored or sub quality media! Stick with Verbatims or Ritek's for god sake
