    Hello guys!

I have received a new ps2 (SCPH-390004 PAL) and i have a magic 2 with clip from neoasic and one without.

What do you think, is better to install the one with clip or the one without?

Oh, and how to take off the warranty sticker from the back of the console without being damaged?

Well, from what people tell me, soldering all the points is always the best, if you have good soldering skills, that is.

And the warranty sticker, you could get a hairdryer and the sticker should peel off by itself. But i'm not 100% sure on this one.

Yes, but i do not have those skills nor money to give to a pro.

But is the clip good, does it let the magic 2 behave as it was properly soldered ?

    thanks

What version clip is yours? The older ones are unstable.

About the hairdryer, i don't know if it damages the console, that's why i'm not 100% sure.

you still have to solder some points even after using the clip. 7 or 8 more i think?

and the clips arent the great, they've been known to come loose, i heard of someone's actually braking (after it was installed, and used for about 4-5 months, it somehow broke), the clips are a bit big, so the casing doesnt go back on flush.....etc....

if you have the money, and know an installer, get it installed. you'll sleep sound knowing your mod is attached correctly.

i know i have to solder some points but they're easy, this i can do. And they are 7. But i do not have money nor time because i have to leave tommorow and must do it myself.

    braking? hmmm ...

    And what about the sticker?

In my opinion the v2.10 is fine for the install. Here's LOD's review, you can draw your own conclusions.
