Magic 2 v7 little prob.

I have Magic 2 V7 Chip installed on my playstation and i get this problem. All boot Flawlessly

but when i try to save a game with my ps2 memory card on a ps1 game ... it doesn't detect it

... but if i play a cd-r Ps2 game it saves it. Anyone know what could be the problem?
