Magic 2 v5 CLONE Test Results

Lik-Sang kindly sent me a number of modchips to test and here is my report on the Magic 2 v5 Clone (green pcb).

PS2 SYSTEM
PAL v5.x SCPH 30003R

INSTALLATION
1 hour + glue drying time + assembly/disassembly

Z wire NOT attached; when attached it prevented the disk tray from closing with EJECT button

mounting on side of metal case.

DVD MOVIE (Long RESET)
OK In Region movie - no skipping nor sound distortion
OK NTSC US movie booted with AR2/v2.0 - ditto no problems

OK GTA3 (original) with codes
NO PS2 backup games

VERDICT
Fine.

A dvd rip to CD made by the Kalisto group (who add Pal / NTSC selectors and perhaps some built-in cheat options as their mood takes them.
