magic 2 v3 no-gap v3
magic 2 v3 no-gap v3 –
My ps2 has a problem, I installed magic2 v3 and only ps1 backups work BUT!!!!! I hear all these clicking crap. I burned automodellisa on fantomcd but it said read error in browser and my jak and daxter backup said something about not being a playstation or playstation 2 disc(not burnt with fantomcd.....can;t remember which). Oh ya.......I used the wires (32awg wires i think) from modchip.ca to solder my 3.3v and 5v points ( 3.3v soldered to the side of resistor closest to the controller chip). !R these wires not suitable for the power points? OR could there be a bridge somewhere ? OR even a chance that the controller chip could be fried (cuz it was hard and i left a lot of mess--i used exactoknife to clean up) ALL of my originals ps2 cds and ps2 dvds work! But i don't have a multimeter so i can't check continuity. Please don't direct me to the sticky thread on troubleshooting as i have already checked it out and because i have problems listed going on simulaneously. PLEASE HELP!
Oh crap –
I think i cut a lot of the tracks. they are the ones going around the legs of the chip(barely freakin' visible). because of the left over from the liquid flux, i used the xacto knife to clean up.BUT at that time i did not see that there were tracks around the legs........i only saw tracks coming out from them. do these tracks matter? But i did not cut the ones going from those legs. Plz help
Every track matters. A pro could restore them if you leave the PS2 in its present condition and don't do any more damage.
where can find the 'pro'
where can find the 'pro' –
who is a good pro? and where can i find him?
and how much does the operation cost?
