Magic 2 DVD boot??

Hey guys,

I modded my ps2, 39004 PAL, bios with gap. D 221 060 S48, B 20 080, Magic 2 (from consolesource.com) clip kit ver 2.10, wafer pitch 1.25.
ps2 CDR work fine, original cdÂ´s are k.
My problem is that it wonÂ´t boot any original ps2 dvd game, havnÂ´t tested any dvd-r.
Does anyone why this couls be??

try using the alternate W point

Now I can play original ps2 dvd games. I havnÂ´t tried dvd-r games, donÂ´t have any

When I used the alternate W point it booted original ps2 dvd games. I got a ps2 dvd-r, it didn't work

I used alternate gnd, 3.3V and 5V (right next to the chip). I got different situations:
-dvd-r ok , cdr nok
-dvd-r not, cdr ok
-dvd-r nok, cdr not
I was at it al night, don't know what to do.
I've got a ps2 pal v7, Magic 2 (from consolesource.com) with clip kit. I noticed how imported your GND, 3.3V and 5V are.
This is getting irritated!!!

i have a similar problem on my v5. i was too lazy to open it back up, so I just use the browser to boot up the originals and the chip to boot up the rest.
