Magic 2 diagram for V2 needed.

Thankyou very much for the diagrams LOD. I have a V2 GAP ROM, that I tried to get installed yesterday and the installer couldn't find point V on the ROM. Today we are going to try and finish installing the Magic2 V1-V3(red PCB) in my PS2.

V2 diagrams USE at you own risk!

Disregard the markings on the GAPROM The ROM version is NOT important the PIN layout is what that is important

LOD, I challenge that a GH-004 is a v2. What mobo is that then? Really?

GH-004 is version ?
GH-005 is version 2 (yes/no)?
GH-006 is version 3 (yes/no)?
GH-007 is version ?

Gets tricky, eh?

BTW that lovely v7 you sent me matched the lovely Magic 2 V7 (non underline) so beautifully! No problem that anyone has described on any forum has beset this combination. So 90% of the troubles or more must be installs!

GH-004 Board.
You know its easy to tell a v2 it has a spot to mount the NOGAP or the GAP ROM The v1 does not have this nor the v3

But GH-004 precedes GH-005 which is acknowledged as v1. Never mind the spot - the GH numbers are surely definitive.

You know charlie how I come up with most of these diagrams. Simply I look at NEO 2.2 and ORiga Chip Diagrams And I go by what others have called v1,v2 etc if you look at the NEO 2.2 diagrams version 2 the board is Identical to the v1 diagrams on the magic 2 website which by old standards is a v2. So what I am saying is I did not make the system up I am just trying to maintain the standard and not make waves. To me I could give a crap v1,v2 etc and the GH-XXX numbers mean little to me. It is not my place to change the system. That should be some one else's cause.

I have a version 2 and the diagram that LOD posted ...the W and Z points are not there the board is also alittle different there to if i new how to leave a attachment i would gladly show u but i've yet to install the magic chip

ok question how many version 2 boards are there because i have a picture of my version 2 board type LOD version 2 Pic and another that is like LOD but where the Gap Rom is Missing on LOD pic There is a Chip there and where The No gap rom is there is a place for the chip but no chip some please tell me how to send attachments so i can put the pics up....
