Hey guys. I just wanted to ask you a pretty simple question for the modders out there. I have a Magic 2 (yellow v5) clone that I bought from Lik-Sang about a year ago. The only problem I have is with booting PS1 discs. The booting is erradic, sometimes the PS2 will boot the PS1 discs and other times it wont. It's about a 10% success rate or less. PS2 copies boot fine everytime. DVD discs boot, but are skippy. I though it might be the ground or power, but the PS2 copies boot everytime...no problems at all!!! What are the pins that might be affecting the PS1 boot up problem? Only SCEx? And what about DVD booting? Are the DVD pins responsible for the skipping? Any ideas? Thanks guys...your help is most appreciated ;-)
