    i install a magic2 on MY DamnV4 PS2(30001 datacode:1c)


    i follow this diagram

    the A B C D F G H I are all VIA's is that FAQ correct???


    how i can solder to via?

    this is the way i do them and it works every time scratch them a little but not too hard put a little flux on it then put a little solder on the tip of the iron and touch it for a second should stick good luck

    The pic you've shown don't look right???
    Use the pic below, as the points are the same for the Magic 2.

    btw. the v4 1c model could be the so called v4r.

    Not sure if v4 magic 2 chip is suitable for that machine

    yeah, i used to have a v4r and it WAS a v4 datecode 1c...
    DaNgEr- this is a difference in ps2 version, you should have v4r magic chip or v7 magic chip for the v4 1c/v4r.
