    Here is the old Neo Macro off code released last year sometime.

    This code was one of two release..This one has performed well for me in a V3 ever since it was posted.

    Chip is a 12C508/509(a) . 4 Wires. Low salt.

    Suitable for V1-V5..dunno about V6/7

    Works perfectly in v0 to v6. It should work on v7, but no one, nobody, have found the new soldering points to put this PIC into v7.

    And I need to know just 2 points on v7. The other 2 points are equal for all consoles (v0~v7).

    The points are 5 and 6. 1 and 8 are always the same.

    tis true.. the point are the same..the orientation of some componts scare peeps if their boards arn't identical..hence all the varient pics. :-) as released. cheers neo.

    The NEW D/A video IC on v7 is

    Sony
    CXM4000R
    227L81N
    100 pin


    OLD IC was:
    S044728APB on v0~v3, SC44728BPB on v4 and SC44728CPB on v5/6
    2000 and 2001 SCEI
    72 pin

    Pins 5 & 6 (from macromod) is connected on pins 29 & 30 on OLD IC.
