I have 5 of the M2 v1.33b chips. 2 of these chips are not working, but I noticed that R1 & R2 on the Messiah chip itself are different values than the other 3 chips. On the bad chips, the R1 value is 1001 (1k 1%) & R2 is 333 (33k). On the good chips R1 is 102 (1k 5%) & R2 is 103 (10k). The Actel chip appears to be the same & I didn't bother checking the value of the capacitors.
Can anyone verify that the 1001 & 333 chips are working in units? Or is this a possible mistake?
    Thanks for any help.

Tomorrow, I'm gonna switch out the R2 resistors on the bad chips & install them into v9 units.

So did you try replacing the resistors? If so, did it fix the problem?

Yes i did,but only the 'reset' resistor which was 1Kohm & needed to be 33Kohm.The CLK resistor was left at 1Kohm,which was the same value on all 20 pieces i had.
I think the error was only in the reset resistor value, which should be 33K ohm.
    Hope that helps
