i was told to update my infinity chip from 1.38 to 1.39 burnt the disk and put in my ps2 the screen come up and prompted me to press start to upgrade i then got told on screen the upgrade had failed reebotted my ps2 and now nothing but a blank screen what do i do now no ps2 browser no nothing any help would be fantastic
You may have burned it wrong or the point is bad. You might have y point might be wrong. Is the controller plugged in. You could email the infinity team at info@infinitymod.com. I hope this helps.
will give them a try im looking along the lines i have a cloned chip yeah controller is plugged in i put in an original game and that boots up now with no infinity logo anymore i got it premodded so im not going to open it all up until the guy has looked at it im praying its not a clone any thanks for your input
Well thats what happens for a clone. There was a way on how to flash it. Dont ask for the matrix team help because they will tell you you have a clone. I was assuming the chip was real. If you change the settings it will mess it up.
would a clone still show up matrix infinity 1.38 under the playstation logo when you boot a game up anyway its doing my head in i paid for a matrix infinity so thats what i expected i have to get in contact with the guy who did a premodded xbox for me last year and thats still going strong he has excellent feedback to so i cant see him using a clone but you never know i keep you posted on the outcome
Yea it would say infinity. The clones are basically a firmware rip. My premod was from a reseller of them. Other people will respond to this post. Plus these clones can be purchased wholesale for not a lot of money. I hope this helps.
ummm try holding the reset or eject button for 5 seconds.. that might work.. if not you need to remove it.
