Dude, I work and live in NYC as well, and I stayed away from those chinatown places - they'll sloppily install a Magic 3.1 clone and charge up the ass for it.
Send it to a pro - I actually sent it to Loy, cost me 30 bones plus shipping. Well worth it though, you know it'll be quality.

yea hes right. they charge over 100 to install it. and it will be a crappy clone chip.
