I know about modbo 745 760 and such. I also know of modbo 735 which is un-saveable. I also know about xeno ps uses almost the exact same firmware as I don't really care. I have installed all and the like, but i never installed a modbo 750 or modbo 4.0. Its just something i would like to do. I know the difference. I'm not a fool. THanks for your inputs, though

EWDIT: PS EJM, thank you but i ordered from a different place (because no one responded[basically]). depending on how well this chip is, i will buy 2 more 1.91 modbo 4.0's from you, that is if you even have any left.

    Thank You

i think the modbo750/4.0 have less problem than the 745. i have installed more than 300pcs 750 and not a single one got returned. with 745, i installed around 80pcs and i've got 10 returned so far. all are the same problem: ps2 freezes and sometimes disc spins extremely fast. the returned PS2 are all 77002 models.

I have been thinking of getting a Matrix Infinity for one of my V9s, but I have heard that the Modbo 745s are almost exact clones. Is this true or would I be better off sticking with the original Matrix?

What are the differences/advantages of the 750 or 4 versions? The info I have found on them on the web has been very basic, so I would be interested in hearing from folks that have actually used them.

Also can they be set to boot DEV2 by default, instead of having to hold a button down at startup?

Anubious, I know what it's like when folks try to talk you out of what you know you want; it can get aggravating sometimes
