Hey PS2NEWZ people. I need help, I am getting ready to buy this today and want to know if it is a smart thing to do. Has anyone ordered here before?

In all honesty, you should go with a no-swap direct boot mod unless you feel like replacing your laser down the road...
Why would I have to do that?![]()
Because those things tear the CRAP out of your PS2.

Because the Neo2.2 continuously injects a 5 volt signal into the 3.5 volt laser diode circuit. Look at that as sort of like screwing a 120v US light bulb into a 220v European light socket...

I bought it last night, I did nothave enough for a messiah or anything like that. How long would my PS2 last using this? My friend has one and it works fine.
that page didn't load any pics but the address says neokey.html The neokey is the USB mod right? I dont think that mod destroys lasers like neo2.2 You should be alright if you're too scared to solder.
