Can anyone tell me how to get my ps2 to enter "Evo mode"? I did this by accident once when I turned my playstation 2 on while holding some buttons, but I forgot which ones. I have a 39001 with a Messiah Blue. Thanks

I'm still having trouble getting into evo mode. I try holding triange when I turn on my ps2 and still nothing. If you can give me detailed instructions that would be great! What I'm trying to do is load the r18 modified version of the divx player to my memcard, but I don't have a sharkport or anything like that yet. Any help would be great, thanks.

Thanks for the clear up. Now my ? is can I load the reality Divx player (R18 modified version) onto my memorycard with the sharkport/x-port and somehow boot it off the memory card? I don't have the DMS3 chip, I have the Messiah Blue on a v7 ps2 and I think someone in the forum managed to pull this off somehow. Sorry if I sound like a rookie because I am, we all have to start somewhere. Thanks

Booting apps from the memory card is a feature of the DMS3 only, if you want to use it your gonna have to install one.
