List of all current V14 compatible chips

Hello All - I just decided to knock up a quick list on my own forum and thought it may also be useful here.

Please be aware that the slim PS2's are now available in 4 version. Australia only saw 3 as far as I am aware:

SCPH-7000x = V12 (Also V12.1)
SCPH-7000x a = V13
SCPH-7500x = V14
SCPH-7500x a= V15????

The V12 still requires a laser fix to protect the laser from self destruction. The Summ0ne fix or the SubZero fix is recommended.

From the V13 onwards no laser fix is required.

The V14 has only just recently been released in Australia and as Sony normaly does - they have made some changes just before Christmas that make this version not compatible with the existing chips on the market.

I will list here as I come across them the newly released chips on the market that will work with the V14 (&15 in most cases):

Matrix Infinity with Firmware V1.68 or above (Green Dot)
Myth Chip (Matric clone)
Crystal chip with firmware updated to 18
DMS4 SE
DMS4 with ToxicBIOS v1.4
Mars A750 (only in the 75001 at this stage)
H20 with new code (Orange Dot) or H20 Pro
Apple75k (This is not an official Apple chip!)
NH9+
MESSIAH 750
SARA
Modbo v2.0 with new 1.68 flash
Mini Magic

Please feel free to add other chips you may know of that are also V14 compatible.

From what I've read there seem to be v15's as well

Yeah probably ecause the rest of the world got the V14's earlier so Sony had to release a V15 to prevent the Christmas rush on modding for you as well...

Not sure really though if what we ended up with is the V14 or if we went straight to the V15 here in Oz - A customer told me he had something like a SCPH-75002 CB the "CB" being something new to me...?

I haven't seen the CB version here. Plenty of 75002's though. I went to the swap meet to get a friends chipped and was surprised to find that no-one there had any MI's or Crystal chips that supported v14. Both lamers kept telling me that no chips existed yet for the v14.

The same lamers probably read these forums

i'm personally not too sure about the Myth for 75002 support. hope it does...
apple 75k? has any one tried it ?

I'm pretty sure I read a thread that CC 1.1 (maybe 1.0 too) support v15

CB is simply COLOR BLACK in pal countrys - dont know about NTSC

CC1.0.,1.1 Matrix 1.68, Dms4 lite and pro work on V15
