lens problem

hi guys , currently i have some PS2 sets having lens problems
they are of different versions but have the same common problem which is having the ticking sounds and will not load DVD games but will onli load CD games
i have some solutions which are changing a new BA chip and new lens
but still unable to load so do u think wat could be the problem??
