    I just bought some lens diodes (woffers) for replacments.
    when i wanted to replace the woffer, i found out that the one i got have only 10 soldering pads while the original from the len has 16 soldering pads.

    anyone know anything about this, and what the solution, if any.

    where you bought them? are they suitable for slim ps2 lens ?

    well the once i got are a ps1 wafer, that was the problem.
    i , my self serching for new wafers to buy, the only one i can get are refurbished and cost alot.

    the week the pstwo lenses became available i bought mine for 15EUR each (100pcs)

    now wholesale prices are down to 11EUR for 250+ pcs and 12EUR for 50+

    just gotta stock up...
    ...and clear stock before the ps3 arrives ;-)

    sorry, i thought you guys were talking about 400C and HD7 lenses. yes, pstwo ones are much cheaper.

    becose there is no new 400c/b and the prices are very hight.
    about the pvr-802w, its not workth it to refurnish them

    any success when you replace the laser diode? i can find the diode for $5 each when buying 50pcs in bulk. but i never tried so i'm wondering if you guys have any luck with those diodes?
