And where from can we buy laser units.
For instance my PS2 V5 might have burnt the
laser unit, and it is the one without the black plastic
cover.....
I can't find a replacement.

Any help?

Old lasers with repair in lens ( change) NOT new brand

I advise you not to buy the lasers from Divineo. I believe that their lasers are not new, they are recovered from old PS2s. There is a thread on here with a full report on this.

Do they hell test them first! Who's gonna do that? And why would they do it? Only to see if they work when ripped out of a broken PS2. And what's the usual cause of a failed PS2? The laser!

Personally I have ordered V5 laser from DIVIEO as a NEW unit. But I have received refurbished unit which doesnt work.

I can tell you at the moment that it wasnt new. There is lots of differecies in refurb. and new units.

New units are expensive but I would say it is worth to buy it.

Hopely I will get brand new lasers within a 2 weeks and report it here how it is going.

tbh ive had quite a few from divineo with the static straps in place calibration was sonys settings these were deffo new whether direct from sony which i doubt ive tried lol
or hk replica most likely and they all worked fine this was from the uk dont know about the other net stores.
