Which laser fix is the best for the SCPH 70011 PS2 Slim V12? I have a choice between

comsoft v4 and the subzero one. Which one do you guys recommend? Thanks

    SCPH 30001 is not a slim v12 ps2... A v12 is SCPH-70000 CB (for Japan)
    SCPH-70002 CB (for Oceania)
    SCPH-70003 CB (for UK)
    SCPH-70004 CB (for Europe)
    SCPH-70011 CB (for North America)
    SCPH-70012 CB (for United States)

but if you do have a v12 I would go for the comsoft v4 fix. I always use it and never had a dead system yet

summ0ne's fix looks real easy to do cause it uses two resistors and that's it. I can just probably go to some hardware store and do it myself. Thanks for teh heads up.

Also, once installed, how do you know if it (summ0ne's) is working?

I like the subzero fix for its simplicity and effectiveness. The Comsoft4 fix is effective too just not as simple.

    Hi,

Someone posted a pic of how to install hte subzero fix. The green says resistor. What resistor do I put there? Also, I was looking at pics of some people's install of the subzero, but see no installed resistor at the green part where it says resistor.

For testing, it says to remove the k wire, but then we have to put it back on correct? So what's hte point of hooking up the k wire? Sorry for hte dumb question. How do you "close" JMP2?
