tonnybonny: as just like many of us have. Unfortunatelly the question was about LA chips and NOT BA's anyway. But if you have any source for LA's too, then would you like to share that with us ?

Actually I meant the la chip for the v9 board. I will get my hands on them tomorrow. i will check if they work well first! (Have 1 fault v9)

Today i recceved 2 pcs of LA6508 circuits. i will try them out later tonight. its looks positive. it has the same markinga as the original.
So if anyone around here ist interested i will be able to supply it.
At least all cases with spinnig disc but no focus will be sloved!

you mean no tracking focus is ok the disc spins keep us updated i could do with one to test if possible il be damned if im going to use a working board to fix a dead console

yes!

it seeks over the disc but it can´t find any data. i will swap the circuit tonight and see what happens.. its a silver version of ps2 with a r ipper chip inside. worked perfektly for a month and then suddenly just stopped reading. disc spinns all the time but no data fetched. no red screen!

i think i can supply loads of chips. many installers will be happy about this!
