K, how do i clean my laser???

I got a V2 and ts having alot of trouble reading CD Rom games, so i cant load my Gameshark to play backups.

How do i clean my laser. After i take it out then wat??

The laser is that one box looking thing right??? By the disc tray?


How do i clean it, vacuum cleaner???? Spray?

Clean the hole thing with a Q-tip try cleaning the laser first

I wouldn't do that. I would simply put a lens cleaning disk in the tray (the one with the brushes) and let that do its job.

But try this as a last resort, read the first FAQ and try the steps.

The First FAQ has measures that don't require you to open the PS2 so read it from the beginning.

The second FAQ is a last resort if nothing else works.

Also can i use an eye glass cleaner cloth thing to clean the discs???

Also with those lens cleaners with the brushes on the discs, mine has directions that are read on the cd, do they work in the ps2?
