About LinkBacksHey everyone, I'm pretty new to the PS2 modding but I'm pretty familiar with XBox modding and whatnot...anyways, I just got my first PS2 today, but it is broken, and I got it for $40 CDN with a Magic Modchip and I verified that it's real using the guide on www.***********
Ok so what I think is wrong with the PS2 is that the power/eject ribbon thing has come undone...i opened it up and there I saw the ribbon slightly stripped and the wires extended to the little PCB, and I was thinking that the wires would short out....anyways, is there anyway to fix the PS2 without having to buy a new ribbon, since I'm not allowed ordering anything online...oh and I was wondering how to get the DVD drive out...I tried it with a precision philips but its felt like the screw was stripped...anyways
Any help would be great, and thanks in advance.
EDIT: The ps2 version is 7/8

Alright sorry about that... but the problem here isn't a chip, so I don't see why this would go in the modchip forum
I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can find a tutorial or something for cutting the ribbon to extend the wires because its really confusing me right now...thanks
