I installed an Infinity (and Romeo) in a V10 (GH 026) last night. Chip works mint on all tests, right up to the moment I installed the Sony harddrive. Suddenly, nothing. Not even originals. RSOD on everything.

Anyone heard/seen this before? Any thoughts?

*L* What's the difference between those two again?

Tony, the console came to me with the drive installed (the FF X package). I installed the chip and tested it. GOLDEN!

So, I finish buttoning it up, and slide in the Sony drive. Test again, and nothing works. So, I slid the drive back out again, and fired up every disc I use for testing... nary a problem. Slide the drive back in... RSOD across the board.

    Any ideas?

The difference is I thought that the PS2 stop functioning after installation of the hd. But you stated on your next post that it works fine without the hd.

Sounds like Sony hd are not compatiable with Matrix V10.... Try disabiling the chip.
