Which is the safest wire to use for that,+ or - or it doesn't matter?
From the instructions of my modchip it says that I have the ability to disable it by holding the start button when I'm turning on my PS2.A message really does appear when I try to disable it but after restart the chip is enabled again(in the instructions it says that I just have to reset the PS2 to start it with modchip disabled but the chip is working again after restart and because of that I can't use some of the homebrews that don't like my modchip)

the recommended wire I normally use for the power and ground is the ones that the computer power supply uses. They work great and is low in amperage too.
And what kind of chip you are using?

Nemesis Pro
Turning Off the NEMESIS PRO:
* Press start from Joypad 1 until the writing "DISABLED" will appear on screen.
* Press once reset button. The Ps2 will reset and the NEMESIS PRO is now disabled until PS2 turned off to Standby Position.

Hell, it's just a matrix clone.

OK.....use the power wires from the computer PSU (the colored ones) and it will stabilise the chip in booting your games and your homebrew.

That wire could be a bit too wild to use. USB wire is perfectly fine for the job as well.

another way to say it is too hard to work with. also, it's too heavy of guage. It's like using a full size tree to use as a bat to play base ball.

And in other news......vsub, try using either the wire i'm talking about or something else that have good conductivity and low amperage.
Thank you.

I just wanted to know if I even decide to add a switch.
