Installers/Modders post about the nasty PS2's you have came across. –

I picked this section to post this thread because it seemed the most fitting since modders and installers are the ones that come across numerous PS2's and what better section then the mod chip section for this. Anyway I thought about this topic after once again coming across yet another nasty PS2. From time to time I get people that send in some pretty interesting consoles. I once found a PS2 with a dead scorpion in it. More then a few PS2's I have seen have had large spiders nests in them. I have seen a PS2 that looked as if it was used as an ashtray, it had cigarette burns on the top of it and was filled with so much sticky smoke resin that it looked like all the dust in his house was being filtered by the PS2 not to mention it smelt like a dive bar. But the most nasty consoles that I have came across are the ones with ****roaches in them! I have seen many many of these. I'm assuming bugs like the PS2 because its nice and warn in it all the time well for those of you that leave your PS2 in standby all the time this would be another good reason to turn off the PSU on the back.... hey and you will also save a few cents on your power bill. But yeah I cant begin to explain how gross ****roach PS2's are. They shit and piss in them and molt in them and and aahh man lay eggs, its just plain nasty. The shit and piss is so acidic that it even corrodes the metal shields in the PS2. Like I stated yes this was what I came across tonight and I will post some pictures for your viewing disgust.

I wish we had <img> enabled!!! That would save me time clicking all those links =/.
I guess it saves a lot of bandwidth though.
Anywho, god damn, you modded that thing?
The nastiest one I've ever modded had brown dust and smelled like smoke. I guess that's not that nasty now that I just saw what you posted.

use the [img] tag (bbcode). HTML is disabled for obvious reasons.

I dont know about that, not a lot of dust and carpet fiber like the typical carpet mounted PS2. Yes those are pretty nasty too.

Thanks <G>
I also noticed the last image was linked to the same one as the first, so every one has a new pic to look at
I could downsample the pics some more for the 56K'ers??????
