installed 3.1 v7 bios 050 dvd Clicking

installed 2 3.1 v7 bios 050 dvd is only making a clicking sound. Bolth systems wher tested b4 install and wher fully functinal . but after instal can only read cd games and cd-r no original dvd or movies.. Is ther sumting im doing rong on thes sys. ??? Also these chips are sx28 with 3.1 code and 18k on the reset..

Remove the chip or disable it and most likley all will be back to normal with DVD funtion. From what I understand you are using a Full size SX28 homebrew. And downloaded code from the internet and you programmed yourself correct? If this is the case it is most likley a BUG in the code that is causing the problem.
