Infinity V10 Issues –
This may be a long one so here goes...
I have a V10 PS2 with a Matrix Infinity 1.2, and my PS2 refuses to autoboot PS2 DVD backups (I have tried with many diff. media Ritek G04, plus others), it will autoboot PS2 CD backups, and now as of last night, it will no longer autoboot PS2 DVD originals. The only way I can get PS2 DVD backups to work is to browser boot them. Thats problem number one, number two is, it will not brower boot nor autoboot PS1 backups. I have spoken with Luke of the Matrix team and he had me run a couple of tests, disabling the chip etc, which led him to believe that my install was fine. He suggested that the LA chip, and/or the laser is screwed. And one last question about Infinity usage, regarding disabling the chip, you hold the start button down until you see disabled written on the screen, and what do you do at that point? How do you then boot a game (original not backup)? Any answers/ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
