I've just fitted an Infinity to a pal v12. PS2 CDR back-ups work perfectly, DVDR movie back-ups work perfectly but PS2 DVDR red screen on me. Any ideas please?

    No problems flashing the chip?

And I recommed going over points a through i... if they're mixed up, or if they touch anything neighbouring, you'll get the ol' RSOD. I had one a few days ago where my 'a' point had solder bridging to the closest via. Flashed it okay, but no joy on dvd games. Check it out.

I had a similar problem on my first Matrix install. After going over my wires with a multimeter (continuity check), it turned out there were a few wires not making contact with their points. After restripping/resoldering those ends, everything was good.
