I recently did my first infinity and got a black screen after the installation. Everything I tried did not work - I used thicker wire, different chip placement and even another infinity chip. Still black screen. Eventually, I plugged in the joypad to see if that would help and it did! So, to me, this is a bug, the infinity will not boot without a joypad plugged in. I can live with this, but I wonder if this is known to the infinity developers.

Ah. Ok. Thanks. Still, it's worth pointing out because most installers (including myself) don't think about reading instructions of how to use a modded PS2 after having done 100's of mods already.
