short answer, yes
whoa thanks a lot man. i read somewhere that if i want to switch the mod chip back on, i would have to switch of the power to my console. is this true?
you probally dont have to but it would be stupid to turn it on when the ps2 is on
you could cause many problems
and why would you need to anyway
well for dynasty warriors 3, when u play the extreme legends and u wanna load the characters from the original one, u gotta insert the disc for them to read. so thats y need to switch it back on. anyone knows what prob will happen if u were to switch it on?
oh one more thing bout the switch, if lets say i switch it off after the game loads and somehwere in the game, the game is loading again, will there b any problems? or will it just run smoothly?
whoa, hehe, so its true.... nico installed my messiah 2.. (he fooked up on the scex wire cus it doesnt play psx, not that i care though :)) to think i was about to get a magic 2 installed by him before i ran into here and learnt of the messiah 2...Quote:
weird
even if the game has a soft reset, the ps2 does not have to "load" the disc again. so once you boot it, you wont need the mod on again.
not sure about turning the switch back on, or disc swapping tho..
oh ok. so the switch only need to b on for the initial load where the playstation 2 logo comes on and after that no need?
can anyone confirm the above? switch only needs to b done until u see the playstation2 logo then it can b switch off already?
anyone tried switchin on their mod chip while power was still on?
