ICE REVOLUTION on V7 PS2

I ordered a set of unprogrammed ICE REVOLUTION Chips and programmed them with the Revolution Hexcode .

But the chip doesnt work in the V7 console i soldered it into . On some pages i read that the Revolution only supports V9-V12 .

Otherwise on the finalchip Homepage www.finalchip.com they say the chip supports v3-V12 and there are also diagrams there too .

Now that the chip DOESNT work in my V7 i am desperate what is wrong about all that .
