Copies of a utility disc are nearly useless ... You can read the manual, you can watch the MPEG2 demo (ocean movie) and can attempt to install the DVD driver. But the disc has code similar to XDVDCDMAN module and will test if it was loaded from a original disc. Maybe it even have a disc specific protection ...
The result is that copies of the utility disc are not capable of creating the driver saves on the memory card.
They boot but can't write a byte on the memory card.
I tried that with both 1.0 and 1.01 discs.
