I think some of those guys are using superglue.
I tried only once doing this and the result wasent very good.

But it looked lot better than my normal installs.
I am suspecting not all of those use kynar awg30, but use another wire that im gonna pick up today (its still awg30)

I use this wire for ground (awg24) and its very nice wire to form and shape (its not kynar)

I think wire and superglue and training is the result getting nice installs like that.
Hello. This is my signature. Nice? yeah? Thanks!

alot of people use a specic techniqe (sorry, i forget who used it first, was it NetMech?). one lays a piece of double sided tape down intermittantly where the wires will be routed. (eg for the bios). each wire on a specific set is soldiered and placed temporarily onto the sticky surface of the tape. when each group of wires have been soldiered and are in place, a drop of superglue is placed over the tape, securing the wires in place semi-permantly. each wires is routed to the next peice of tape, and the process repeats, until the chip is reached.

this technique works well because it allows each wire to be seen individually, and cut to an exact length after the glue is set, resulting in a neat install.

alot of installers cut corners and super glue the wires directly to the mobo. i woudlnt advise this as in the event of an error, or if you want to upgrade the chip, it is a difficult process to remove the glue.

I picked up the alternative wire now, and it looks and feel like a awg30 kynar wire, so I might be wrong about the special wire.
Ill try making a neat install today and post the result. Its fun to do sometimes. But ill stay away from superglue though. Glue gun glue is much easier to remove than superglue.

But my motto is FUNCTION BEFORE FASHION , but it couldnt hurt it looks good though

if you need to remove the superglue, you just remove the double sided tape... thats the beauty of it. and damn that was a quick reply, we may as well talk on irc

all you do is solder your wires to all your bios points or cd/dvd points and bunch them up then drop some glue then run your finger down the lines of wires to spread the glue.. gets very easy after awhile.. some people are better at it than others..

I think you mean teflon wire. They have that soft, flexible insulation. I tried getting some, but the store that has it is like 25 miles away from me. So I gave up. maybee when im in that neihborhood, I will pick some up. I also try to do neat installs, and they are pretty neat, only thing is that they are not routed so neatly close together. But, hey , all the isntalls work.

OK. I tried to do my first tidy install today.. Ended up bleeding coz i was so focused, but i didnt stop modding.

I tried this TEFZLON wire today or what it is called.
This install i havent use ANY GLUE, or ANY DOUBLE SIDED TAPE.

It dosent look that good, but might be my best install so far.
Btw, I just love the wire.

    Here it is:
