i need a good modder that'll help me out at an affordable price

i have what i believe to be a V5 PS2. the pots were tweaked and now it doesn't read anything. also to power it on you can't use the start switch you have to power off at the back and then power on holding the on button ? something like that. i was told that was easily fixable. i need someone to tell me where the cheapest place i can purchase a dms3 2.0 chip that is authentic and have that installed in place of the existing magic 3.1. i'm gathering money right now for this repair job -- and it it seems like its too much work for the money and there is another way to get a decent ps2 dms3 system then to invest in all this -- please let me know how ! i also have to track down a laser unit to replace the one that if i'm not mistaken has been messed up by the pots tweaking. and last -- the pots need to be adjusted back to normal.

so far i will have at my disposal $100 to invest in this project. considering i need someone to do the work, buy the chip, buy the laser and adjust the pots and fix the on button -- it looks like i'll need a little more money which i might have sometime tomorrow month. if you can do good work and help me out by finding the lowest prices for authentic components i'd really appreciate your help.

if there is a less expensive way to get a good working ps2 unit with dms3 2.0 please let me know. i dont want to waste my time. brand new premods are overpriced and i've got bills to pay etc etc.

a few things i can offer along with money is:

3com 3c905b pci nic
phillips acoustic edge sound card.

note: the unit DOES work just doesn't always boot all media and not all games. it currently has a magic 3.1

please keep in mind that i might need your help in locating the necessary parts granted the dms3 is authentic and cheap and a working laser for what i am pretty sure is a v5 unit at the lowest costs. i've simply been out of the scene too long to know anything about these resources.
