I need charlie help or any profesional v3

Hi, i have a very big problem with v3. First the tray dont close, i repair the problem changin the resistor pack of the z point of magic. But now i put the disc on tray,close perfectly but the disc dont spin, the lens go up and down with red light constantly but i thing that dont detect the disc of something similar. No shorts in cd/dvd controller, no shorts in bios, the ba is ok, because i use this lens in another v3 and work correct (in v3 ba chip are in lens) any help? thanks

im not sure but if the magic works like messiah or dms try to connect only the secx and ground (try to boot ps1 only) just disconnect all wires from the chip, see what happend ... btw if you disconnect the power of the chip is it works normal????? more detail needed.

mmmm sorry. i try to install magic chip, but now no are chip on the ps2.

you had a spike on z point hence the need to change to resistor bank also change ps13 fuse this will have blown aswell its a micro package so is the size of resistor and not a standard fuse 0.8amp is the rating hope this helps

ah, ok, the fuse guide, i check it, in v3 only seven fuses and three more on lens. I dont find the fuse13. At the start i have the fuse ps5 blown (tray problems) i replace it.

il check a v3 board in a while for you im basing this on ps13 on v7 when z line gets spiked its possible the v3 has the same fuse either not marked or under a different title also have you checked the daughter board for ps13.
