  1. #1 I got my BB Unit and..
    fooniman Guest
the 0.30 bbn disc failed to boot, though i installed disc 1 of 0.10 but an error came when i put disc 2 in, but the hdd formatted and now i'm installing FFX on it!
    but something weird about 0.30 bbn, IT'S A CD-ROM!! NOT A DVD!
    that's right folks...
well, i'm going to take a look at 0.30 on the pc and see if i can crack and install.....
any questions, or suggestions, please post here.
and this is being tested on an asian unit, and the hdd i've never seen before, i'll post pics soon.

    ok..
i installed KH FM, FFX JAP, and Wild Arms Advanced 3rd so far and absolutely no problems (apart from them taking 15mins. each which is normal).
i'll be trying more games, and soon trying to get PSBBN working.

here's a pic of the Wild Arms 3 install,
for Wild Arms 3, KH, KHFM and FFX, they took 10-15 Mins. approx. each, though for Unlimited Saga, it took 20-30 mins.!
Unlimited Saga can also save files to the HDD!

I think that HDD is a SeaGate, but I can't make out the model number correctly, if it's the model number that I think I'm looking at. Look at the bottom of the HDD, or supply a pic of the circuitry there and see if you notice the name of a company like Maxtor, IBM, or SeaGate.

I'd say either seagate or quantum but doubtful on the quantum.
