hi i recently got a matrix infinity chip.. i installed it in my ps2 v10 and today my son was playing a game and he turned it off and back on and hit reset and all of a sudden it started saying "MATRIX" instead of displaying "PLAYSTATION 2" now it wont do it for the life of me... what did he do and is there away of making it do that all the time?

it should only show infinity mod under playstation 2 logo.. is the ps2 logo blacked out ?

it does that to... but it did say "matrix" at boot today... any ideas

I know it does this with the firmware update CD and also a few homebrew CDs I've got here, think I heard it does this for CDrip type games that doesn't have the proper logo - or something to that effect.

ok my firmware on my chip is 1.0 so should i update the firmware with the iso on there website? will it then always display the "MATRIX" logo
