how to solder on the back of v.9's

How the hell do you get solder to stick on the back of the version 9's? I've tried flux, tin tipper, the whole deal and I can't figure it out. I've done about a dozen ps2's and hundreds of ps1's so I can solder.

soldering to the via holes is best done by prepping the contacts with a fiberglass pen adn then using a flux pen to prep the contatc . Then simply tin the circle and tin the wire and solder to the hole.

with the fiberglass pen be caucious not to sand too much area!!
