how to play ps1 games on ps2?

hi,

as per topic. me using a 39006 ps2. it direct boots all ps2 cd/dvd, but i can't seem to boot a ps1 game.

Is there a sequence or anything?

I am not aware of the mod chip either.

Please help. Urgent.

most likely you should press and hold RESET or EJECT for a few seconds when turning the PS2 on... hope this helps

well its either from standby hold reset button till blue eject light comes on or again from standby tap the reset button 2 times

thats really weird, do you have a mod chiP??? if you do it should boot it automatically )or een wothout it but i dont really know)

ur thinking of mods with autoselect, he has a mod where u hav to select mode to boot into.
