How to know BIOS VERSION OF A V2 NTSC ?

See my post entitled 'BIOS CONFUSION' then open up the PS2 and look for the chip with the appropriate legend.

You must to open you ps2, the bios version is written on the top of bios chip....

Terry will get to the bottom of the 50Hz thing because he's got the NTSC TV!

But good news that we've cracked at least the 3.58 vs 4.43 MHZ problem.
