    PS2 Ghost 2 v2 Mod Chip :: G2 v2 Is Here!
    states "There is simply NO patches applied to CD/DVD Control Bus and Bios." but then it goes onto to say
    "BE AWARE THAT THE FOLLOWING FEATURES ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE PRODUCT’S LEGAL DEFAULT STATE:
    As any “Today” mods, G.2 is media autodetect powered. " does that mean it won't boot backups unless the EEprom is flashed?

    They simply ship you a Ghost2 (v2) without a firmware on the chip.
    For what should the BIOS and CDVD-Solder-Points be, if this modchip wouldn't use the normal way of 'hacking into a PS2'?

    The EEPROM is not rewriteable in a PS2 (only a small fraction).

    They only state that this modchip works in recovery-mode, even if the PS2s internal EEPROM is corrupted/empty, as far as I understood it...
