How do u identify the Bios

I have 2 examples here.Both are from 39002PAL(v7)Aus ps2's,with GH-022 boards.

1) 2002 SCEI
D341 060 S48
B20 080
This is a gap bios.

2) 2002 SCEI
D421 060 048
B20 080 2435BBC
This is a no gap bios.

I'm assuming both are 080 bios by the "B" in front????
Does the gap/no-gap make a difference in terms of chipping them with a Messiah2,V1.08???
I'm afraid that the 1st one may be a V8 possibly,because i have not seen one like this b4(different metal shield/heatsink to other v7's).....or are V8 only with 090 bios???

Both are 060 messiah 2 1.08 should work and magic 3.1 is working perfect on 060. You can install for 100 % sure.

Thanx for clearing that up.So its the "D" line where the bios No. resides???
Is there a 080 bios....or does it go from 060 to 090???

Yes, the 0x0 number is the BIOS version. Those 2 units are 060.
