    Can someone explain exactly which component this is ? And also, can I use another one from a V5 for example ? Or does the replacement have to come from a V7 ? Thanks

    that's the v7 eeprom and yes it has to be changed with the same version eeprom replacing it is easy if you know how + have the skill to do it, search and you will find plenty of instructions how to tackle such a job i cant be bothered to explain i have a thousand time's before
