How Do I Play PAL Games On NTSC Chipped Systerm

I have Slim PS2 with a Duo3 but it won't play PAL games, did I miss something? I though chips were region free?

It should play it just fine. But it will look all messed up as it is playing it in PAL. PS2 does not convert a PAL game to NTSC. If your TV supports PAL then the game will play just fine, if the TV doesn't support it, then it will look messed up. 2 of 3 TV's in my house will display PAL just fine.
There is a program out there for converting the game to NTSC but don't expect it to play perfectly.
The best advice is to find the game in NTSC

You need an advance modchip like the Infinity or the Crystal to have pal to ntsc conversion.
