How to check what modchip I have?

It's a Matrix Infinity Clone, looks exactly like a Sumo-7 chip I did a while back for someone. They brought me the chip, so I did it. It's flashed with like 1.3x or 1.4x firmware. I'm not sure I would try flashing it with anything above that. I would be more concerned with the fix that is done to the laser if it's a version 12 slim pstwo. Without a fix or the crappy diode fix, most pstwo's laser will eventually get fried.

What do you mean exactly? Where can I see how to get that done?
