WIth the latest no swap modchips available Gap , NoGap doesnt make a diff at all. used to matter earlier for V4 NTSC with GAP bios since Gap ones could be fitted with Messiah and diff versions of Magic 2 for Gapped and No Gap.
But if its just out of curiosity and u guys dont wanna open ur ps2 and wanna know abt the BIOS, ( from my limted info..)

Date code 1A, 1B == 90% chance of GAP bios
Date code 1c + == 90% chance of No Gap.

pro installers in the forum who have worked on a lot of ps2s should be able to tell better.

Just that for installing the Messiah 2, will there be any
different in the installation for gap & n-gap bios?

Points W,R,V,U,T,Q and M,N,O,P were swapped around the opposite sides of the bios for a no-gap v4 messiah install, so it's probably the same.
